From hotel pickup to landing on Belcekiz Beach — here's exactly what happens during your Fethiye tandem flight.
Our air-conditioned minibus collects you from your hotel or pension. Pickup is 60 minutes before your scheduled flight time. Covered areas include Fethiye city center, Çalış Beach, Ovacık, Hisarönü, and all Ölüdeniz hotels. The drive to Babadağ Mountain takes approximately 40 minutes via the serpentine mountain road, rising from sea level to 1,960m.
At the takeoff area, your THK T2-licensed pilot introduces themselves, checks the live wind data from the anemometer station, and walks you through the 30-second takeoff procedure: "When I say run, you run straight ahead — do NOT sit down." The harness and helmet are fitted, and lines are checked by both the pilot and a ground safety officer.
You take 3–5 running steps and the EN 926-certified tandem wing inflates above you.
